It's all about Statehood...

This is the story of a girl, who hid her face from the world

Today in 8th grade we had intelligent conversations about farts, b.o., mooning, and yes they whipped out the mini-deodorants again, to prove that it was someone else who was the stinky one. I swear, its a riot everyday, and that can be a good thing and a bad thing.

Im going on a field trip on Tuesday. In fact, I am being sent on the field trip. Hmmm, do I really want to be the responsible adult? Were going to see the artifacts from the Titanic, and eating Mexican food afterwards. OLE!

Edens daily Olympic Update Id like to extend a happy congratulations to Evgena Radanova of Bulgaria for her Bronze Medal in the 1500m Short Track Speed Skating. XYBAVO!! Icegate Update: Now the head of the French Ice Skating committee is admitting that the judge was pressured to vote a certain way. The fun only continues.

Heres a special treat for all of us who will be painfully reminded of our marital status, or lack there of, tomorrow, its not Valentines Day, its Arizona Statehood Day! Yes, ninety years ago President William Howard Taft signed us into the Union, thus making Arizona the 48th state.

Here are some things that you need to know about Arizona

**State Bird: Cactus Wren

**State Tree: Palo Verde

**State Nickname: The Grand Canyon State.

**State Flower: Saguaro Blossom

**State Motto: Ditat Deus, God Enriches.

**State Fossil: Petrified Wood (now thats cool, does your state have a state fossil?)

**State Song: Arizona by Margaret Clifford. Now I have to admit that I have never heard this song, nor have I heard of this song.

**The Five Cs: Copper, Cattle, Cotton, Citrus & Climate.

Arizona is also known for its strange and sometimes stupid politics.

Case in point, the only two women ever to serve as governor, came to office because their male predecessors were removed by impeachment and/or conviction in a Federal criminal case. Ya, were so proud!

Happy Arizona Statehood Day tomorrow, and if you must Happy that other day too!
